   We whose Names are hereunto subscribed
do certify that Edward Hills of Merryshields
in the Parish of Bywell lost Two She-Asses
at Eltringham in the Parish of Ovingham,
by the Flood in the Night betwixt the 16th. & 17th. of Novr. last
and from the best Information we have been
able to receive, the same appear to have been
of the Value of Forty Shillings.  As Witness
our hands this 21st. Day of March 1772
