Northumberland The Agents of Noblemen and Gentlemen having property in this County and not resident therein are hereby In pursuance of the Resolution at a General Meeting of the Gentlemen and Clergy of this County held at Hexham the 19th instant for receiving Informations of the Loss and Damage which many of the Inhabitants of the said County have sustained by the late dreadful and destructive Inundation and for processing a speedy The Agents of Noblemen & Gentlemen having property in this county and not resident therein are hereby Relief to the unhappy Sufferers. ^ desired forthwith to transmit to their Masters the Resolutions of the said General Meeting which Resolutions were are inserted in this paper. {???} By Order of the Committee at their Grand Jury Room first Meeting held at the Town hall in Hexham the 23rd day of December 1771 Lanct Heron Clerk to the Committee
