Brandon Whitehouse Feby 7th: 1772 Sir I received your favour of 28th Dec last the Rev. Mr Cuthb. Allen of Wooler was with me the 8th Jany and paid me a part of his Subscriptions and last Munday he sent me the remainder which in the Whole amounted to Forty pounds. Twelve Shilling for this County; No other person has been near me as yet,and I would hope they will return theirs to the Newcastle Banks: you'l be pleased to let me know how and when this must be remitted I am with best respects to your Brother and Sister and Family Sir Your Most Humble: Servt George Middleton PS. Mr Allen wanted sore to Send in his book but the Carriers was all Stopped we had the fly went past here this day I know not but he may take that opportunity
