| Memorandum that upon ye Twenty Eight day of December last: Mr Richard | ||||
| Orde ye testator being then of sound mind & memory was moved by some | ||||
| friends to make his last Will & testamt Declared in ye psence of Us | ||||
| Christopher Dodd of Mill hills in ye County of Northumberland Yeom, &, Titus | ||||
| Angus of Juniper house in ye said County Yeom, & severall other psons | ||||
| these words following (vizt) I have made my Will severall years agoe | ||||
| & its lying in my Parchmt coloured Book Signed & Sealed: Which | ||||
| said Will being accordingly sought for this Paper Writeing being | ||||
| found was brought to ye said Richard Orde the testator, & being asked | ||||
| if this was ye Will he meant of hee Declared these other | ||||
| Words following (that is to say) This is it, And This is all | ||||
| the Will I will make: Declaring thereby this above menconed | ||||
| Writeing to be his last Will & testamt Which paper Writeing | ||||
| is ye same that was produced to ye testator: In ye psence of | ||||
| Us ye said Christopher Dodd & Titus Angus: as Witnesse | ||||
| our hands this Nineteenth day of January Ao Dm 1696. | ||||

| unto God my Soul in whom through ye merritts & passion of our Saviour | ||||
| Jesus Christ I hope for mercy & Salvation, & my body to ye Earth: | ||||
| Item I give & bequeath all my Personall Estate unto ye Disposall of my | ||||
| daughter Katherine Mentioning Only that I leafve* my Wife Jane | ||||

| Item I give & bequeath unto my Wife Jane ye full power & Ordering | ||||
| of my real Estate of Sandho before menconed (ie) for tearm of | ||||
| her life if Daughter Katherine dye not haveing Issue: Item I further | ||||
| give & bequeath unto Katherine Ridley Child of Thomas Ridley of ye | ||||
| Park End Inn my Real Estate of Sandho before menconed: faileing | ||||
| my Daughter Katherine & her issue. Item, I further give & bequeath | ||||
| unto Ann Ridley Child of Thomas Ridley aforesaid my Real Estate | ||||
| before menconed: faileing ye aforesaid Katherine Ridley & her heires. | ||||
| Item I give unto my Sister Margt Brown twenty Shillings: | ||||
