Take 4. Ounces of Bees Wax } Boil them together till they be Incorporated | ||||
6. Ounces of Hoggs Lard } | ||||
Then take Madder Root* & Alkenett Root* 3. pennyworth* and Boil with | ||||
the Liquor lett it not be full Red Strain it tho’ a Clean Cloth | ||||
& this will be an Excellent Lipsalve. | ||||
