communicating Mr Erringtons Counsels | it necessary to give you the Trouble of it; Mr Errington in his Letter | |||
Opinion that the Magistrates had | says, that since the Recpt of the Clerk of the Peace’s Letter, he has | |||
bound themselves by desiring | seen his Lawyer, who is of Opinion that the Magistrates, having | |||
Mr Smeaton to make an Estimate | so far acquiesced in his Proposal at Michs Sessions as to order a | |||
fresh Estimate to be made by Mr Smeaton, and that Order | ||||
having been strictly complied with on his Part, implies an | ||||
acceptance on theirs; and that the Court of Chancery | ||||
would so interpret it; and therefore is recommended to that | ||||
Court for Relief.- But I dare say he knows | ||||
not what resolution to come to in his very difficult [and?] | ||||
