| All that my Close of meadow ground lyeing in Hencoats fields | ||||
| and boundering on the lands of James Watson on ye. East, and | ||||
| the lands of Peter Bell on the West, with all the appurteces | ||||
| thereunto belonging To have and to hold the sayd Close | ||||
| of Meadow ground with the appurtenances unto my | ||||
| said sonn James Charleton his Heires & Assignes for ever; | ||||
| Item I Give & devise unto my Daughter Jane Charleton, | ||||
| All that my Burgage or Thatched Houses with the | ||||
| appurtenances scituate* & being in Gillygate within ye. | ||||
| Towne of Hexham aforesaid boundering on ye. Burgages | ||||
| of Matthew Bell on the North and South; To have and to | ||||
| Hold the said Burgage or Thatched House wth ye appurtenances | ||||
| unto my said Daughter Jane Charleton her heires & | ||||
| Assignes for ever; Item I Give and bequeath unto my | ||||
| Eldest sonn William Charleton my two Gallaway Naggs* | ||||
| Item all the rest of my Goods & Chattells moveable and | ||||
