Page 78, Will, Henry Fenwick, 2 December 1703, p 2

Scituate lying and being in the parish of Symondburne & County
of Northumberland aforesaid and commonly called & knowne by
the name of Crosshills to have and to hold the said Messuage
Tenement or Farmhold with the Appurtenances unto my
said sonn William Fenwick his heires and Assignes for ever
And I also give legate & bequeath unto my said sonn William
Fenwick the sume of Eighty pounds of lawfull English money
to be payd by my Executrix hereafter named within Twelve
months next after my Decease and as herein after is nominated
and appointed Item I doe hereby nominate constitute and
appointe John Carr of Hexham aforesaid Gentl & Daniell Craggie
of Whelpington aforesaid Yeom to be Tutors and Guardians
of my said sonns until they shall severally attaine the age
of one and Twenty Years And my Will is that my Executrix
hereafter named shall pay the severall sumes of Eighty
pounds above herein by me bequeathed to my said sonns
Robert and William Fenwick unto the said John Carr & Daniell
Craggie at the time above limitted for ye use of my said sonns
and to be by them put forth or disposed for ye best advantage
of my said sonns. And my Will further is that in case either of
my said sonns shall happen to dye before he attain the age
of One and Twenty years that then the said sume above
herein by me given legated and bequeathed unto my said
sonn soe dyeing as aforesaid shall descend & come to my other
son that shall survive. Item All the rest of my Goods & Chattells
moveable and immoveable I give devise & bequeath unto my
said Loving wife Elizabeth whom I doe hereby nominate &
appointe Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament
And I doe hereby Revoke and annull all former and other
Wills and Testaments by me made either by word or writeing
In Witnesse whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and
seale this second day of December in the second Yeare of
ye Reigne of our Soveraigne Lady Anne by the Grace of
God of England Scotland France and Ireland Queen Defender
