one part & your Petr of the other Part Reciting that at the Genl Qtr Sessions held by | ||||
Adjournment the 6th day of Feby then last past your Pet had proposed that he wld for | ||||
the Consns[?] therein after mentd build & erect a good & substantial Stone Bridge across | ||||
the River of Tyne to & from such places & of such Dimensions & in such manner | ||||
as in the sd Articles & a Plan thereto annexed are partarly mentd & described and | ||||
that the same shld be built under the direction & inspection of the sd Wm Smeaton |

Materials for the same (over and above the Timber Stone Iron & other Materials which | ||||
to be paid as therein mentd | ||||
had been provided as afd) for the Price or Sum of 5,700L ⁁ And furr Reciting | ||||
That at the sd Sessions John Donkin an Agent & on behalf of your Petr | ||||
had proposed & undertaken to build a substantial Road from the North end of | ||||
the sd Bridge (when built) to the Alemouth Road for the sum of 400L & that yr | ||||
(and which Bond bearing date the Petitioner sheweth he did accordingly enter into & executed) | ||||
Petr wod enter into a Bond ⁁ in the penalty of 9100L to the County conditioned | ||||
for the building making finishing compleating the said Bridge & Road on or | ||||
