This page lets you see images of the original documents which are being transcribed by our volunteers. There are four groups of images:
We have enhanced the images to improve contrast and remove any colour cast, at the same time reducing their size so that each page fits on to the average sized computer screen. Each enhanced image links to a much larger raw image which may be helpful in interpreting indistinct details.
Uploading images is an ongoing project and not all will be immediately available.
